Helena Pedersen was born in Powell River and has lived on the BC coast her entire life. After spending many years on southern Vancouver Island working and raising a family, she moved back to her birthplace where she had developed her strong attachment to nature. Countless hours spent under the canopy of the trees, the forest clearings, coastal mountains, lakes and of course the ocean have developed a high appreciation of the beauty there which is reflected in the details of her work, inspiring her line of “westcoastwildoriginals”. Her preferred mediums are watercolour, acrylic and oils. Each of her pieces are originals and with all of nature to inspire her, there are many unique pieces available.
