Yeonmi Kim and Andy Henderson have been creating together as DesigNature since 2009. Focusing on interior decor and furniture, no material is out of question. Products range from lighting to clothing, fine art to cabinetry, they continually explore form and function with a focus on sustainable production; recycled, upcycled and reclaimed.
Yeonmi Kim is a multi-disciplinary artist who loves the wood shop as much as the sewing studio. She designs clothing, accessories , sculpture and sewn plastic art work. She excels at imagining artworks from limited found materials, and extracts beauty and richness from discarded stuff, elevating it by combining material and technique into stunning functional objects. In addition to her illustration and fiber drawing, Yeonmi aspires to installations.
