Weekly Multi Media Art Drop In

$5 drop-in, accessible for seniors with elevator and double wide doors
Create & Connect is an opportunity to work in a large open space with other creative people. We promote and endorse sustainable, earth friendly, renewable art projects and advocate for sustainable practices with minimal waste, reusing existing materials and encouraging innovation.
Some supplies and equipment are available for use. You can bring any size of project to work on individually or as a group. This art drop-in is self directed and open to nurture your personal vision.
Some media to bring (but not limited to):
- Fibre – knitting, crochet, hand sewing, macrame, needle felting, wet felting, small quilting projects, embroidery, small loom weaving, rug hooking, etc.
- Drawing/Painting – pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolour, acrylic, ink & paper making
- 3D – wood, collage, mixed media
- Multimedia – Electronic, digital, improv, freeform
Equipment available: sewing machines, iron and ironing board, industrial sinks, fabric scraps, sewing notions, embroidery hoops, rotary cutters, free Wifi, ipad, table easels, large tables, chairs, heat & cooling controlled space, large, natural light, facilitator, accessible washroom
