Doug Schuetze • I did a lot of art work in high school and was awarded a short stint at the Okanagan Summer School of Art. My life took me a lot of other places through the years but I started painting again about 15 years ago. I did get a few paintings accepted Into a juried show , the Sooke Fine Arts show. In the last 6 months I have been painting a lot more and trying to quit being so fussy and get loosened up a bit. It has been very rewarding for me. Acrylics are my medium of choice.
Val Schuetze • I have painted in the past, doing water colours, oils and pastels and sold some decent pieces at art shows but stopped after a few years. Recently I began to paint in acrylic and am loving it. My husband and I share a big art room in our home.
