29 | Lisa Hâù

Wildwood

Lisa Hau is a painter and multidisciplinary artist working from her home studio at Coming Home Farm. She works primarily in mixed media, acrylic and oil, blending abstract realism with expressive mark-making and vibrant colours. Her art often features botanicals, animals, and portraiture—woven together through layers of emotion, stories, and meaning.

Lisa’s practice is grounded in her relationship to the land and shaped by years of creative exploration across mediums. Through the lens of Asian female identity and lived experience, she explores themes of belonging, connection, and transformation. Her soulful paintings move between the seen and the felt—capturing both the external world and the complex inner landscapes of being.

With drippy textures, layered compositions, and luminous energy, Lisa’s work reflects the raw beauty of growth, grief, and becoming. She believes that art is a portal to presence and a form of prayer—one that invites others to pause, feel, and remember the preciousness of being alive.
