Candace’s artwork ranges from mixed media pieces incorporating photographic prints, handmade paper, fabric, etc. to acrylic paintings and paintings in oils, printmaking and ceramics. Some of her recent work is currently on display at the Powell River Library (until September 5). She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Emily Carr University and has shown work in q’athet, the Lower Mainland, Saskatchewan and California. Some of her favorite artists are Alice Neel, Henri Matisse, Wayne Thiebaud, Richard Diebenkorn, Helen Frankenthaler, Cecily Brown, Robert Davidson, Liz Magor.
