Would you like to learn about paint in a fun, supportive environment? There are many paths to take in painting! Here we’ll use a painterly approach to build up the medium and create expressive art work. Using energetic mark making, value systems, composition blocking and various painting tools and techniques you will translate a representational photo into a finished painting. Allowing our imaginations to explore, we will mix the creative process with a sprinkle of technical training.
Please bring several images that you’re interested in using or they will be provided.
Supplies list provided with registration.
This painting class series and the preceding drawing class can be combined from 5-8pm to expand your skills. Combined cost is $300.
